The hardware on these poppers is of the highest quality and will stand up to big fish like tuna, GT's, dorado, and peacock bass. They are best used with a heavy spinning rod and reel due to the higher inches of line retrieved per crank. We prefer to have braided line with a short 3' top shot of monofilament or fluorocarbon.
