Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Nuits-St.-Georges 1er Cru Clos de la Marechale Blanc 2023 NO WINE SEARCHER ambient-yeast fermented and aged aboutClos de la Marechale is the southernmost Premier Cru in Nuits Saint Georges and a Mugnier monopole, and this is the rare white from it, a small planting of Chardonnay within the famous red vineyard. Mugnier always said this site has more in common with Chambolle than the rest of Nuits, and the white shares that elegance: precise, mineral and finely cut rather than fat. A distinctive, hard to find white from a domaine known for its reds.
