Pavette California Zinfandel 2021 EARHARDT Hayman's is a rich andZinfandel gets a bad rap, most of it earned by bottles that taste like jam with the volume turned up. This is not one of those. Pavette pairs Zinfandel's juicy berry fruit with Cabernet Sauvignon for depth and Petite Sirah for a spicy kick, and the result lands squarely medium bodied rather than heavy. It is the kind of red that makes a weeknight barbecue better without asking for much in return.
