Raktu and Turquoise 108 Bead Mala Je Tsongkhapa Embroidered brocade wall hangingOne of our traditional Tibetan raktu bead malas. Features 8 turquoise spacers and one large turquoise guru bead for easy counting. Accented with a red tassel. Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in mans history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth. Measures approximately 30 inches around.
