Fluorescent Hexagonal Sandwich Calcite Crystal Cluster artichoke amethyst Size: approximately 5 to 7Highly lustrous hexagonal sandwich calcite crystals in a stacked formation. Each stacked, tabular hexagonal calcite crystal shows an interlayering of white and clear greenish calcite. The clear light green layer has an alternating point up point down triangular geometry visible on the side faces. Slight green tint is from hedenbergite. The bottom has been smoothed a bit and there are some matrix mineral remnants. The calcite fluoresces a vibrant
