The shape of this matcha bowl is a waisted type, one of the most ergonomic and comfortable shapes to hold. It is similar to the half cylindrical type bowls, easy to whisk, except for the 'waist', which gives the type the name. The groove part is the place to put fingers when whisking matcha or holding it while drinking with both hands. In
