cotehardie rodrigo brocade red Size:S Rusvik and Varangian influencesThe cotehardie was a popular item of clothing in the fourteenth and early fifteenth centuries gentlemen position: close fitting, with a long row of buttons that emphasized the waist and shoulders. This jacket brings back that late medieval line: tightly cut and worn over a shirt or chemise, possibly supplemented with a surcotte over it for a complete costume. The jacket is made from a heavy brocade fabric with a woven jacquard pattern, giving it a
