Lillie Maxi Dress Color:Cupro Black Drape: hand-twisted straps over aTweed is an odd idea for formal dresses until you see it, and then the Lillie makes perfect sense. Purple holds its depth under a warm light, and the texture stops the color from going flat. A plunge neckline sits above and the long hem sits below, with nothing fighting in between. The weave gives the whole thing structure, so it hangs on the body rather than draping over it. Most gowns this warm are cut from satin, and this is the better version.
