Patch "This is a Bird" Cranberry🌲 Base Notes: CloveThis patch is inspired by a taystra bag from the 1930s woven in Bukovina. The original is now preserved in the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Local Lore. A taystra is a traditional shoulder bag that Hutsuls used as frequently as we use shopper bags today. They were woven on the same looms as rugs. The bird motifs are presented in a "pixelated" style, which is especially popular in Bukovina and Podillia, and the tradition continues to this day. Size: 6
