Domaine Olivier Merlin Saint Véran Côte Rôtie 2020 ribolla-gialla On the vine"Allocation only, email wine@worldwine. com. au to secure allocation" As the name suggests, this vineyard is well exposed and sees plenty of sun. But it retains freshness thanks to the limestone soil and late ripening rootstock. Despite the dry 2020 season, the vines didnt suffer any hydric stress. This is powerful and stony, a fascinating mix of dense fruit and tingling mineral freshness. Drink 2024 2033.
